Carlos Rosario was presented with a challenge of upgrading the security in their existing facility as well as implementing a new state of the art system in their new facility soon to be built.  They had both students and staff who would need various access at each campus and wanted to ensure the security system meet both their needs and budget.  The system consisted of upgrades and installation of access control, video intercom, CCTV, and wireless network access points.  We also made considerations for access to the parking lots, via gate installation and control, as well as provided a new intrusion system, emergency callboxes, and infrastructure installation in the new facility.  The new campus also was outfit with a school clock system and paging system for campus wide notifications as well as metal detectors for enhanced screening.

Overall the project was scoped and overseen to provide the maximum benefit from each aspect of the technology and account for unique circumstances, such as how to allow ease of access to a secured facility in the event of an emergency.  The local first responders were complimentary of the considerations given to ensure they could be given seamless access the unlikely event it was needed.

We met with Gus Viteri, CTO, to understand the needs of the school, at both campuses, and design a system to provide for the needs of the current campus, all the while keeping that system operational in an already in use building.  By being involved in the new building from day one, we were able to review the drawings and design a system that was optimized from the outset rather than an afterthought.
